Our New Journey Begins from a Love of Travel

Hey there, fellow travel enthusiasts! If you’re wondering how to take your friendships to the next level, let me tell you – going into business together is the way to do it! My friend Kristi and I have been friends for over a decade now and have been through it all – living together, traveling the world together, and countless unforgettable adventures together. I don’t even call her just a friend anymore – she’s more like a sister to me!

Kristi and I have always had a knack for bringing out the silly, adventurous side in each other. We’re constantly trying new things and pushing each other to step outside of our comfort zones. And as we’ve launched our business, Korty Travel & Associates, we thought it would be fun to share some of our favorite past antics – as well as all the new adventures we’re planning in the months and years to come! Take, for example, our very first cruise together. It was a total blast, but let’s just say that by the end of the week, most of the other passengers knew us by name – and not just because we were so friendly! We couldn’t resist taking a few funny pics and making some memories we’ll never forget. Now, I have to admit – I’m the thrill-seeking one of the group. When we had the chance to go zip-lining and climbing Dunn’s River Falls, Kristi and our friend Brooke weren’t exactly jumping at the chance. But my persistence paid off, and they agreed to give it a try. Let me tell you – zip-lining through the canopy of trees was an incredible experience. I even got a little scared during the vertical drop segment, but it was all worth it for the rush of adrenaline! And that wasn’t even the half of it. Our next adventure was climbing Dunn’s River Falls – something I’d seen pictures of but never thought I’d have the chance to do myself. It was an incredible experience – being able to climb up a water fall, feeling the power of the water rushing by, and knowing that we were living life to the fullest. For those who aren’t keen on getting wet or who may have mobility challenges, there are stairs you can use to walk up the falls on the side, but I highly recommend taking the plunge and doing the real thing.
